Discover the science of Archaeology. Many hands-on activities will be available including a simulated site dig. The Mound City, Ft. Salem, and the Miamisville Archeological Chapters of the Archaeological Society of Ohio, plus other local amateur archeologists will have artifacts and tools for viewing. A representative from OHS will help you indentify your artifacts. (No one will sale or trade artifacts on park grounds.) Also, learn about Adams Countys unique geological feature the Serpent Mound Crypto Explosion Area or crater, as well as the three different soil types that make the countys flora so diverse!
