The Friends of Serpent Mound will hold their annual festival to celebrate the first day of summer. Enjoy vendors, educational booths, and listen to free lectures to learn more about the mysteries of Serpent Mound and the cultures that left evidence behind. End the day with a guided hike around the serpent effigy or some International style or Native American drumming.

The 2015 solstice celebration will begin with music by Steve Free, followed by a presentation on Ohio’s Five Greatest Wonders of the Ancient World, an American Indian inspired Solstice dinner, and a guided tour of Serpent Mound ending an hour before sunset. Solstice eve will end with an hour of silence around the coils of the Serpent.
