20th  "Lighting the Serpent" - (Rain or wind date - Dec. 21st), 4:00pm - 8:00pm  Celebrate the Winter Solstice at Serpent Mound. Help volunteers light over 900 luminary candle bags that will outline the serpent effigy. Take a casual stroll and reflect upon the history and importance of this world-renowned earthwork.
